Privacy Policy

POST respects the privacy of our contributors and other online visitors. We never sell, trade or lend your name or any information provided to us. Our Web site does not gather information about you other than any information you choose to submit in one of our online forms. If you have provided us with your contact information, you may receive periodic communications from POST by mail, phone and email. If at any time you would like to remove your name from our list, please call us at (650) 854-7696 or email us at post at openspacetrust.org.

We also ensure your information is kept safe and secure. Our secure server software (SSL) is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.

POST is grateful for the support it receives from our contributors, volunteers and friends.  One of the ways we thank our supporters is through donor listings in our annual report edition of Landscapes. Should you wish to remain anonymous, please indicate this on the online donations form.

As you browse the Peninsula Open Space Trust website, advertising cookies will be placed on your computer so that we can understand what you are interested in. Our display advertising partner, AdRoll, then enables us to present you with retargeting advertising on other sites based on your previous interaction with Peninsula Open Space Trust. The techniques our partners employ do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, or telephone number. You can visit this page (http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/) to opt out of AdRoll’s and their partners’ targeted advertising.

Once again, thank you for your interest in POST and your commitment to protecting our local natural lands.
