Join POST in a conversation with Author Jenny Clendenen about her new book featuring the history of María Zacarías Bernal de Berreyesa, whose Californio family helped settle the whole Bay Area during the Spanish and Mexican periods. Participants will hear the story of how her husband and father held vast parts of south San José, including the Rancho San Vicente of Calero County Park, and how they were ruthlessly dispossessed when Americans arrived.
