It’s a great time of year to see wildlife tracks in our open spaces. Rains help soften the ground, making it easier for passing critters to leave their marks on the trail.

Tracks are like clues to a great puzzle. They teach us who’s around and give insights into how animals move across the land. Even the shyest of animals can leave tracks, giving us a hint into which creatures live on our open spaces—even though we may not see them.

If you’re excited about wildlife and learning how to track them, this digital book is just for you. It illustrates seven common animal tracks found in our open spaces. Take a flip through the book and brush up on your tracking knowledge before your next hike! (Looking for places to go? Check out these hikes!)
