About POST Walks & Talks

Every fall and spring, POST organizes a series of special outings for donors who make an annual gift of $500 or more and we want you to join us! These popular events take place on POST-protected lands, many of which are not yet open to the public.

When you join us for these walks, you can see firsthand how we're putting your donation to work. You can also meet fellow POST supporters while enjoying a spectacular day out on the land.

Event Details
Join POST for our first ever Windy Hill Halloween Half Marathon! This fun, challenging 13-mile run will be held at one of the most iconic open space preserves on the Peninsula, with incredible views of the surrounding area from the top of the race route. Run timing and lunch is included as well a snacks at two rest stops along the way. A prize will be awarded for the best costume!

Join Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) and Patagonia Palo Alto for an exclusive, free screening of the documentary film Meru, which chronicles the epic first ascent of Mount Meru in the Himalayas. Enjoy appetizers and drinks and meet other outdoors-lovers from the Palo Alto Area!
