About POST Walks & Talks

Every fall and spring, POST organizes a series of special outings for donors who make an annual gift of $500 or more and we want you to join us! These popular events take place on POST-protected lands, many of which are not yet open to the public.

When you join us for these walks, you can see firsthand how we're putting your donation to work. You can also meet fellow POST supporters while enjoying a spectacular day out on the land.

Event Details
Join our partners at the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge to experience Bair Island! Come witness this historical wetland restoration in process. On this 1.5 mile walk along the new flat trail hear the story of the transformation of Bair Island back into a healthy tidal marsh.

Event Details
On this 5-mile excursion, you'll hike from the Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve to the top of the POST-protected Mindego Hill and back. Enjoy the sunset with views up and down the Santa Cruz Mountains from one of the most prominent peaks in the range!
