Huang is a seasoned marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in the media and technology sectors, including brand development, cross-functional product management, growth marketing, and go-to-market strategies. His experience spans venture-backed startups to Fortune 100 companies.

“POST is a leader in the field of conservation. Ben’s proven track record of driving growth and innovation will be key to evolving our work as we continue building a broad, engaged community of support for the protection and stewardship of open space in our region,” said Walter T. Moore, president of POST. “As we look ahead to POST’s 50th anniversary in 2027, Ben’s deep expertise and profound connection to our mission will ensure that we are well-positioned for the future.”

Raised in Southern California and now a Peninsula resident, Huang grew up exploring many of the nation’s national parks with his family, which seeded an enduring appreciation for nature and for shared family experiences outdoors.

“The outdoors is very personal to me,” said Huang. “After enjoying career successes in the media and technology sectors, I am looking forward to connecting the skills I have built to benefit POST, an organization that aligns so closely with my personal and family values. It feels like coming full circle. With a big anniversary ahead, it’s an exciting time to join POST’s incredible team of conservation professionals. I am grateful and excited to be here.”

Huang succeeds Marti Tedesco, who served as POST’s Chief Marketing Officer since 2016. Tedesco has stepped back from that role and will remain with POST as Senior Manager for Media and Communications.

Huang most recently served as Vice President, Marketing, at NBCUniversal, where he oversaw marketing for its digital media businesses (Fandango, Vudu, Rotten Tomatoes). He has also held global and product marketing roles at Microsoft, Ericsson and TiVo, and he serves as an advisor for various technology startups. Huang is a board member of the YMCA of Silicon Valley, El Camino, a nonprofit that champions the local community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

Huang received a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA, a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. Huang lives in Los Altos, CA, with his wife and children.
