POST’s Walks & Talks series is a special benefit that we provide to donors at the $500/year level and above, as well as members of our Open Space Legacy Society. We hold these walks in the fall and spring on properties that are not generally publicly accessible.

Join POST for a scenic hike through Sam McDonald County Park to POST-protected Alpine Ranch, a stunning 350-acre redwood property. Tour the newly constructed Audrey Edna Cabin, one of POST’s most recent projects, before it is open to the public!

Hike Difficulty: Strenuous hike of 5 miles & 750′ elevation gain on dirt trail
