POST’s Walks & Talks series is a special benefit that we provide to donors at the $500/year level and above, as well as members of our Open Space Legacy Society. We hold these walks twice a year in the Fall and Spring on properties that are not generally publicly accessible.
We invite our wonderful supporters to join us for a picturesque autumn Walk & Talk at POST Protected Djerassi Resident Artists Program (DRAP). Nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains DRAP provides a setting to inspire artists and their work in the largest artist resident program in the Western US.
Our walk will take us past rolling hillsides, redwood groves and panoramic ocean views. We will see the artist’s live/work spaces and pass by 20-25 site-inspired art installations. We will also tell you the story of POST’s role in protecting this beautiful property!
Hike Difficulty: The walk is on a marked 3-mile trail, which is moderately strenuous. There is a 500-ft. elevation gain.
